The new 403 Innovation and Early Careers Skills Exchange Pilot (IECSEP) offers visa pathways for UK's young and bright.
Streams
Innovation Stream:
UK citizens
no age-cap
up to three years of stay
a demonstrated contribution to innovation
highly skilled
highly experienced
current or prospective employment in Australia in an occupation defined at the ANZSCO Skill Level 1
Early Careers Stream:
UK citizens
aged between 21 to 45 inclusive at the time of application
up to 12 months of stay
tertiary qualified
having worked for at least 3 months in their current role
having a prospective employment in Australia
relevant to the applicant’s field of work in their current role
in an occupation defined at the ANZSCO1 Skill Levels 1, 2 or 3
Application
Open for submissions with a current closing date set for 20 November 2023.
There are 1000 slots available for 2023-24 and 2000 for 2024-25.
Conditions
Applicants must have confirmed employment in Australia at the time of applying.
Employment with the initial Australian employer must be maintained throughout the visa duration.
For those in regulated occupations in Australia, a valid Australian occupational license without restrictions or conditions is mandatory.
